The croissant effect: what marketing really takes

I love croissants. Period. They look simple, golden, delicious. You grab one with your coffee and move on with your day. But, have you wonder what actually goes into making it? The folding, the resting, the patience... It earns its softness.
Marketing works similarly.
From the outside, people see a post, a campaign, a brand that “just works.” What they don’t see is the ongoing recalibration, the testing, the adjustments happening behind the curtain. And right now, everything moves really fast: Trends shift, algorithms change, attention spans shrink.
Just like croissants, the marketing magic is in the layers (the who, how, and where), each one folded carefully into the other, over and over again, so that you experience the result, the connection, the "it clicks".
So yes, I love croissants. Not only because they taste so good, but because they remind me that what works well is worked on, layer by layer.
